Garden Maintenance Supervisor
The successful applicant will be part of a small team, based near Burgess Hill, looking after communal gardens for property management companies in the south of England.
Each driver is allocated a group of gardens which they must manage, ensuring the maintenance is carried out to the necessary standard, that a good working relationship is developed with theEstate Manager, and the homeowners, and that the garden is developed within the confines of each properties budget requirements.
To facilitate this, the company will provide a company van with all tools and equipment, a company telephone and in-house training covering the specific machinery used and the tasks expected to be carried out in each garden.
Blue Star is looking for outgoing, personable people who are able to work with a degree of autonomy once training is completed. Experience and industry qualifications are highly regarded but not essential. A full UK Driver’s license is essential.
The post attracts an industry competitive salary, company pension, 22 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays, an active T.O.I.L. system and the opportunity for college training leading to formal R.H.S. qualifications.

Blue Star Gardens was established in 1994, originally servicing the construction landscaping sector before concentrating on grounds maintenance. Our services cover the South East, Kent, Sussex, Surrey, South London and areas of Hampshire and Berkshire.

Blue Star is looking for outgoing, personable people who are able to work with a degree of autonomy once training is completed. We allocate each garden to a gardener for the duration of the contract and as a result need applicants who will view the garden as an ongoing project to be worked with and enhanced. Experience and industry qualifications are highly regarded but not essential A full UK Driver’s licence is essential
